Are Vision Foundation Models Foundational for Electron Microscopy Image Segmentation?

Date:

On 27 April 2026, I will present a poster on “Are Vision Foundation Models Foundational for Electron Microscopy Image Segmentation?” at the Learning Meaningful Representations of Life (LMRL) Workshop during ICLR 2026, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

This work studies the use of vision foundation models for electron microscopy image segmentation, with a particular focus on transfer across datasets, latent representation quality, and the limits of lightweight adaptation strategies such as LoRA.

The poster is based on our accepted LMRL 2026 workshop paper:

I will update this page with the final poster once it is available.
