BioImage Model Zoo

Date:

On 18 March 2026, I delivered the “Bioimage Model Zoo lecture” as part of the EMBL-EBI Training course Microscopy data analysis: machine learning and the BioImage Archive.

According to the published programme, the session took place from 13:00 to 14:00 GMT during the third day of this virtual course. The lecture introduced participants to the BioImage Model Zoo, focusing on how pre-trained models can be discovered, shared, and reused for bioimage analysis workflows.

The course brought together public imaging data resources, machine learning methods, and practical analysis tools, making the BioImage Model Zoo session part of a broader training programme on modern microscopy data analysis.
